The Dartmouth Investment and Philanthropy Program is Dartmouth’s largest undergraduate investment group, managing a $900,000 public equity portfolio. Each year, we distribute a percentage of our capital gains as grants to campus-based charitable organizations.

The Dartmouth Investment and Philanthropy Program (DIPP) was established in 2007 after receiving seed funding from a group of Dartmouth alumni who believed in the importance of real, hands-on investing experience for undergraduates. The organization operates with three primary objectives:

  1. Educate members on value investing principles.

  2. Prepare members for future careers in finance by organizing recruiting events and professional development opportunities.

  3. Give back to the Dartmouth community by donating a significant percentage of our gains to campus-based philanthropic organizations.
